Can this switch change the direction of a motor if not how can I change the direction of a motor with a switch? Thanks
Posted byon Wednesday, 1 October 2014On its own it wouldn't be able to. You could use it as an input for a motor controller board though such as our bump and spin kit.
is this switch an on on switch or an on off switch because i want to use the on off type for my model railway.
Posted byon Wednesday, 3 April 2013Technically the switch is an ON-ON DPDT, but it can be used as an ON-OFF by simply not connecting one of the terminals to anything. If you put your +ve to the centre and the ?ve to one side and leave the other side unattached then it will act as an ON-OFF. Hope that isn?t too confusing!
