Yes it can be washed, however it would be advisable to hand wash the ribbon, and then ensure it is completely dry before placing any power through it again.

Question:

Hi Could you tell me if your conductive ribbon is waterproof please? Im thinking of a project where it would be exposed to the elements and wondered if it would cope with being rained on for example? Also do you do a discounted price for longer lengths? Thank you Clare

    Hi Clare,

It's not weatherproof so it it's outside for a long time it will degrade. It should work when wet although it depends on how wet it gets and the voltages being used. Being wet will effect it's performance and i wouldn't advise it.  Unfortunately that's the only length we receive it in.
