This 18W soldering iron would be more than suitable to handle general soldering tasks such as wires and resistors.

Question:

do i need the Antex soldering iron stand

Answers:

  • Posted by Geoff Hampson on Tuesday, 14 February 2012
Technically the soldering iron is supplied with a small piece of metal that bends to produce a stand. However in reality if you don?t want to be carefully resting your soldering iron on the table with the end resting on the stand, then yes you would need to buy a proper stand to accompany the iron.
