Single sided copper clad board, 1.6mm thick, with a positive working photo resist coating. Protected by a peel off blue plastic film. Ideally suited to making printed circuit boards.

To make a photo-resist PCB you take the photo-resist copper and draw or print on it with a photo-etch pen or photo-etch ink. Then you shine a UV lamp on the ink for a while to harden it. Then you dip the whole thing into some ferric chloride and it dissolves all the copper except for that protected by the ink.

Hi, it's made from CEM/1 Laminate. The description of that material is "CEM-1 is low cost, flame retardant, cellulose paper based laminate with only one layer of woven glass fabric." So it sounds like it's a combination of the two.Posted byon Thursday, 20 November 2014
