The resistor kit contains a range of 31 different resistors, 6 per decade (10, 15, 22, 33, 47, 68, 100, etc.) to cover values between 10 ohms and 1 meg ohm, with 50 of each value. There are over 1,500 resistors in total. Each value is placed into a labelled grip seal bag to make up a box of resistors. Supplied with information on resistor identification.
What is the circuit symbol, and what is the function of the resistor
Posted byon Thursday, 12 November 2015
The basic circuit symbol is a rectangle with two small lines from each short side of the rectangle. The function of a resistor is to limit the current in a circuit for a particular reason, for instant to protect an LED. For more information on resistors please see this resource, https://www.kitronik.co.uk/blog/how-to-calculate-and-understand-resistor-values/
What type and power rating are these (e.g metal film 1/3W) ?
