How the process works

Estimate

To get an estimate of the cost of kiting your project, use our cost calculator. This lists a limited number of the most common parts, you just state how many of each go in to your kit and out pops the estimated price at a number of quantities. To keep the cost calculator simple, there is only one quantity box for all items including resistors and capacitors, however the final price is calculated depending on the number of items at the same value, so the price may vary by about 10%.

Quote

If the cost calculator gives you a good price estimate, then the next stage is to get a full quote, to do this you simply need to Email us the parts list for your project. We will then produce your quote, usually within a day or two. The quote will itemise each component, showing an illustration of the part and full description, it will also give you the quote reference number along with the definitive pricing.

Sample

If you would like a sample of the project kit, then we charge £10 for this service, which is fully reimbursed when you place your first order. Depending upon the parts in your kit, we can normally turn samples around in 3 to 5 days.

Order

Once you’re happy with the sample, or have decided that the quote is OK without getting a sample, place your order using the quote reference. Again depending upon the parts used in your kit we’ll deliver your individually bagged kits in 1 to 2 weeks. Don’t forget to keep the quote reference number in a safe place should you wish to reorder at a latter date.
