You can connect all the parts that are on the board edge on flying leads, though due to there being 6 connections on the volume control I’d leave this on the board and mount it and the board at that location. You can however quite neatly leave all the items on the board edge and use them as is. Click on the camera icon above to see some examples, the Hardenhuish School example shows this the best.

Hi there. Do you have the components to build a separate subwoofer to go with this?

We have a higher power full range speaker that has a good response right from low frequencies up to the higher frequencies. We don’t however do frequency specific speakers or filters to only drive the low frequencies into a subwoofer speaker. The full range speaker is shown in the related products link at the top left of this page.

Can you run 3 of the speakers of the 1 unit?

When you say 3 speakers I’m assuming that you mean one channel has one speaker and the other channel has 2 speakers on it. When you put the two speakers in parallel you will half their combined resistance so the 8 ohm load becomes 4 ohms. The IC that drives the speakers can handle 4 ohms so that’s fine. What should be stated is that although it is possible to add an extra speaker it won’t make the sound any better quality or any louder it will only change the athletics of the design.
