'Light up' decoration pack

The decoration shown left is made by layering laser cut Perspex sheet. The centre piece uses clear Perspex which is illuminated from below by the colour changing LED. As the LED changes colour this can be seen in the edges of the plastic. It also gives a nice effect when the surface of the plastic is 'etched / engraved' with shapes by the laser as these are illuminated by the LED like the edges. The design has been created so that the shape of the decoration can easily be altered by the student. This makes it ideal for seasonal tasks such as Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc.

The pack contains all the parts required to build ten of the kits (excluding Perspex). All you then need to do is add your choice of 3mm Perspex sheet. You will need a solid colour for the base and a sheet of clear for the part of the decoration that is 'lit up'.
