Crimped muscle wire
Possytronics muscle wire is a smart material that contracts by about 5% when an electrical current is applied to the wire. When the current is removed the wire returns to it’s original length.
Supplied in a pack of 5 x 15cm lengths of 0.006 diameter muscle wire with crimped ring terminals. This allows the students to easily experiment and complete tasks.

Mechanism kit
This mechanisms kit is designed to accompany the Possytronics muscle wire shown left. The kit contains:
- 5 mounting posts
- 3 levers
- Paper clip
- Extension spring
- Battery snap and holder
- A4 sheet of muscle wire tasks
