The tank kit uses the motor controller board (not included, but available separately) to drive two bidirectional motors allowing the tank to move forward, backwards or spin on the spot. The kit is supplied as parts and includes sprockets, chain pieces, motors, gearboxes, axle brackets, axles, spacers, nuts and bolts. The two 5mm Perspex plates are not supplied and need to be laser cut, the data files to do this is available here. Control can be achieved by adding ‘bump’ micro switches to the chassis, or with a line following board (coming soon).

The switch kit contains the parts to mount two switches on the front and two on the rear of the tank. The plate cutting file include holes for the switches. Once fitted the tank can be programmed to stop on contact with walls.
