The CEL Robox 3D Printer features a dual-nozzle system to ensure print speeds up to 300% faster than the closest competitors, the attached Dual Nozzle 3D Printer Head allows adjustment of the individual nozzle temperature as well as the depth of fill, providing you with complete control of every stage of the printing process and quality.

If you already own a 3D printer, you know how useful it can be to have a spare printer head as you don't have to purge the material as often and you can have one printer head per type of material you are currently using. Also, low quality filament can get stuck in the print head itself and can prevent the 3D printer from working. An additional print head is therefore useful to have at hand. The Robox 3D Printing Head is designed for faster printing and a wide range of resolutions. The Dual-Nozzle (with a single material loaded) head has 0.3mm and 0.8mm nozzles, allowing the printer to build objects between 800 and 20 microns in resolution (see below).

The Crystal Clear ABS and Natural Clear PLA are prefect filaments for the print head as they display the structure and reflective qualities of 3D-printed objects (see top of article) as you can print unique objects and structures using the filament. Unsure about which filament tp use for your 3D Printer? Kitronik has made this list to help you out: ABS - Advantages:
  • Stronger, aiding any post print work.
  • Increased flexibility.
  • More temperature resistant (due to a higher melting point).
PLA - Advantages:
  • Biodegradable and derived from plant sources.
  • Lower plastic smell during print.
  • Less warping of print, so possibly more detail and better visual quality to prints.

Whatever your chosen 3D printing material is, you can make any shape you design using these filaments or you can use Kitronik's own 3D Printable Models and create your own Retro FM Radio Kit.
