We hope that you all had a good break over the Christmas and New Year period. Although it's been a challenging year, to say the least, the rest was welcome and we are raring to go. Although things aren't as we might wish they were, we are committed to continuing to meet your needs. We've got a sample of some new lines to tell you about, some new learning resources, and some information to share.
New Products From Kitronik:
There are so many new things to talk about that we've had to cherry pick just a small sample. We've been developing new lines, sourcing new products, and adding to our materials range. We also have a ton more lines waiting in the wings, but more on those later. Let's get to it!
Kitronik Inventors Kit for the BBC micro:bit - Python version:
The inventors' kit has been a big hit, ever since we first released it. It offers a great introduction to both physical computing and coding. Work through the 10 experiments and level up your coding game as you go. Complete Experiments 1 - 6 with MakeCode blocks and experiments 7 - 10 with Python.
Kitronik Proximity Monitoring Board - PCB Only:
This PCB has been designed as an open-source platform for building and learning about proximity alarms (social distancing). This board has been designed in conjunction with our friends at Headstart Technology in Malta.
Solid wood sheets, 300mm x 100mm x 5mm:
These solid wood sheets represent new territory for us. They are not veneered or ply, rather they are a single piece of wood. Suitable for laser cutting or working by hand. As they are a single piece of wood the edges can we worked to become a part of the design.
Perspex Sweet Pastels 3mm x 600mm x 400mm:
Introducing our yummiest and most vibrant acrylic range to date. Even the names will make your mouth water! They are suitable for both laser cutting and working by hand. Improve your outcomes today with this fun and inspiring pick and mix of colour.
The sheets are available in the following colours; Raspberry Sherbet (light red), Lemon Bon Bon (light yellow), Candy Floss Blue (light blue), and Spearmint Green (light green).
New Resources From Kitronik:

Covid-19 V's Kitronik Service:
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have striven to keep up our level of service to our customers. As we head into another lockdown the same is true. Whilst prioritising the safety of our customers and our staff we will continue to serve you as we always have.
The only perceptible change to our level of service will be that we will be unable to offer collections from Kitronik as a delivery option. This is in line with Government safety guidelines. We thank you for your understanding and we are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Kitronik Service And BREXIT:
Keeping up with all things BREXIT is proving to be challenging for everyone. With that in mind, we have produced an article detailing all of the changes that this entails.
