Solar Powered Buggy

The Solar Powered Buggy is simple to construct and all of the required parts are included. The scope of the project can be extended by redesigning aspects of the buggy and evaluate the impact that this has on its performance. The ready to build Solar Powered Buggy kit contains: 4688_large_lilypad_mp3_player

LilyPad MP3 Player

The LilyPad MP3 Player is your all-in-one audio solution, containing an Arduino-compatible microcontroller, MP3 (and many other formats) audio decoder chip, micro-SD card socket, and a stereo audio amplifier. Part of the Lilypad E-textiles line, this board can be used to give your fabric creations the gift of music, or any other sounds you can put on a micro-SD card. It can be powered by a 3.7V Lipo battery (charger built-in!), or an external 3.5-6V source. Off the shelf, it will play specific audio files when any of its five trigger inputs are grounded, or you can solder in an RGB rotary encoder (not included) and load new firmware (included in the link below) to add a user interface for track selection and volume control! All you need to do is add a microSD card and some speakers, and you're ready to rock.4689_large_lilytwinkle

LilyTwinkle

The LilyTwinkle is a tiny little LilyPad board designed to add some twinkle to your project. Even though it's as small as some of the LilyPad sensors, this board actually has an ATtiny microcontroller on it so its actually pretty smart! Simply sew on 4 LEDs and connect a battery and the LEDs will twinkle-fade (a lot like fireflies, or lightning bugs, if that's what you call them). LilyTwinkle is a quick and easy way to add twinkling lights to a project without any programming or a bulky Main Board. If you're an advanced user and want to re-program the LilyTwinkle, the ICSP programming connectors are broken out on the back.
